In the meditation we start by adoring all three persons of the Blessed
Trinity:
1) God the Father chooses a humble Virgin of Juda to make her the Mother of his son by enriching her for the purpose with all her gifts of nature and grace.
2) God the Son agrees with his choice and applies to Mary who is to be His Mother, the anticipated merits of His passion and death. He preserves her from all stain, even original sin and so gives her a sanctity greater than all other saints combined.
3) God the Holy Spirit accomplishes in her chaste womb the Divine Mystery of the Incarnation of the Word, the Second Person of the Trinity.
What a tremendous thing happening for the Angels, especially Gabriel.
Such a Dignity:
1) No created intelligence can fully comprehend it.
2) St. Peter Damien says that while one comtemplates this dignity, one can only prostrate himself in wondering awe and profound veneration.
3) Her Divine Maternity is the foundation of all other privileges - Immaculate Conception, Coronation in heaven, great merits above anyone.
4) Since her Maternity makes Mary share in the goodness of God, we should be inspired with full and entire confidence in counting on her intervention.
Our Duties toward Mary:
1) We owe her veneration of reverence, love and confidence more so than to any other saint, even our own patron saint.
2) As we worship Christ, we must also render to Mary every kind of homage - honor her, invoke her with confidence in all our needs - celebrate all her feasts with great devotion.
In the Rosary - think of her Divine Maternity especially in the Joyful mysteries as you say the second half of the Hail Mary.
